5How Will Nan Hide Her Pregnancy?
It’s hard to forget how free Nan is by the end of Season 2, fleeing the castle after Theo renounces his title and basically makes way for her to get a divorce from him. Still, her decision to leave and raise her child in secrecy is bound to present challenges in the long run, especially given that the Dowager Duchess of Tintagel (Amelia Bullmore) won’t make it easy for her to let the baby off the hook when it comes to their family’s centuries-long legacy.
According to the Dowager Duchess,Nan and Theo would only be granted approval for a divorce if Nan became pregnant with an heir. Theo did renounce his title publicly, meaning that his mother’s proposition is meaningless now. Yet, if she finds out that Nan has a baby on the way, and that the child is indeed Theo’s,she will do anything in her power to ensure the child becomes the heir of Tintagel. After all, she summons her late husband’s bastard son to take over as duke in the finale, only so that the family’s title and power may carry on.

4Will Paloma and Guy Remain Married?
After Nan’s short-lived stay in Italy, Guy is left heartbroken and Paloma (Grace Ambrose) helps him get through the pain. They get drunk and go about the city, with their friendly encounter taking a romantic swing. After Paloma wakes up next to Guy and leaves his apartment, she is surprised to see a wedding band on her right finger. It doesn’t become clear that Paloma is married to Guy until the end of Episode 7, when Paloma makes her way to London to reunite with Guy.
Devastated by the news, Nan is uncertain what to do now that the love of her life is married to another woman and her husband is having an affair with her best friend. Guy, who clearly still loves Nan and plans to be with her, believes that there might be a way to annul his union to Paloma. Yet, in the finale, Paloma hides the annulment papers. This indicates that she might want to stay married to Guy, in spite of his feelings for Nan and vice versa.

3Will Lizzy Tell Theo the Truth About the Baby?
After Theo abdicates his title to be with Lizzy (Aubri Ibrag), Nan’s plans to share the news about her pregnancy are halted. Unaware of what to do, she runs away from the party and Lizzy goes after her. The two of them have an argument over the affair, andLizzy blames Nan for leaking information about her relationship with Theo in the newspapers. Nan comes clean about her loyalty to Lizzy over anything else, mentioning that the love between the series' core friends is the most important love there is.
She also confesses to Lizzy that she is expecting a baby from Theo, and this revelation cuts like a knife. Nan makes her best friend promise not to tell Theo the truth in order for her to be able to take care of her child by herself. Nonetheless, this is a hard secret to keep. Lizzy is clearly beaten up by the fact that she has to hide this from Theo while pretending that everything between them is fine.Fans can’t help but wonder if she’ll end up telling him the truth because the weight of keeping this a secret might be too hard to bear.
2Is Nan’s Baby Really Theo’s?
Although Nan tells her adoptive mother (played byChristina Hendricks) that she is certain that the baby she’s carrying is Theo’s, because it matches the timeline of her honeymoon, the question remains as to whom might bethe real father of Nan’s unborn child. After all, the time jumps in the show throughout Season 2 have been hard to follow, with fans believing that there might be a slight chance that the baby’s father is actually Guy.He and Nan did sleep together the night before the wedding, which could indicate that the baby could be his.
Regardless of the father’s identity, it will be hard for Nan to hide this from both Guy and Theo. After all, Guy did help Jinny take care of her son while they were in Italy, and would likely want to take responsibility for the child. As for Theo, it would be hard to imagine his relationship with Lizzy not being affected by the prospect of becoming a father.Would he still be willing to divorce Nan after finding out the truth?
1What Will Happen to Tintagel After Theo’s Brother Returns?
Perhaps the greatest question fans have after watchingThe BuccaneersSeason 2 finale is what things will look like when Theo’s half-brother Kit arrives at Tintagel. Before Theo renounced his title to all that were present at the masquerade ball, his mother made sure to secure their family’s legacy by appointing Kit as duke. Instead of running away with Reede (Greg Wise) and finally living out the romance they’ve desired for so long, the Dowager Duchess decides to stay at the castle and coach the new duke.
Given the minimal information that we have about Kit, and the fact that there isn’t even an actor cast to play him onscreen, fans can’t help but wonder what’s in store for that character when he arrives at Tintagel. The max we see in the finale is his carriage arriving at the castle, meaning that he will indeed take on the post.Only time will tell if he is apt for the royal role.
