Last night, the Atlanta Film Critics Circle (AFCC) announced their selection for the year’s top films, performers, and more. As a member of the group, which was founded this year, I was incredibly proud to be among my peers and discuss our selections. I definitely agree with the group’s choice for Best Picture, which wasGet Out. Surprisingly, the group also showed a lot of love towardsDunkirk, and while I can’t really argue, that film hasn’t really stayed with me in the way that others have this year (I do have a bone to pick with peers thatBlade Runner 2049wasn’t recognized for Best Cinematography). That being said, I’m very glad that the Atlanta-basedBaby Driverlanded in the Top 10.
