Avengers: Infinity Waris a good title, but some people may be wary about the “two-parter”. Two-part films started to become standard for series conclusions withHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but now it’s become passé. Some audience members feels like they’re only getting half a story, and then they inevitably feel like what they’ve received is unbalanced and underwhelming. Furthermore, unlikeDeathly HallowsorBreaking Dawn,Infinity Warisn’t a conclusion. It’s a conclusion of sorts, but it’s not like the MCU will end with these two movies.
Thankfully, directorsJoe and Anthony Russoaren’t married to theInfinity Wartitle, or at least not to thePart 1andPart 2of that had been previously announced by Marvel. Speaking toUproxx, the Russos clarified that it really isn’t a two-part story with a cliffhanger, which means what we’re really looking at here isAvengers 3andAvengers 4rather thanAvengers 3andAvengers 3.5. “The movies are two very different movies,” said Joe Russo.

“It is misleading,” added Anthony, which means that a title change is on the way.
“The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: wewillretitle them.”

So what will the new titles be and when will we get them? That’s anyone’s guess at this point, and presumably Marvel wants to keep the focus onCivil Warright now rather than jump ahead to 2018 and 2019 when these two movies are slated to open.
Presumably, at least one movie will stick with the titleInfinity War, or at least I hope it does. What titles do you think the newAvengersmovies should have? Are you cool with ditching thePart 1andPart 2? Sound off in the comments section.
