TheChrisley Knows Bestalum,Lindsie Chrisley, has stayed quiet over fatherTodd Chrisley’s and stepmotherJulie Chrisley’s legal ordeal. Lindsie opened up on her podcastSouthern Teaon Wednesday, March 19, aboutthe last time she saw her parents, where she revealed that she hadnot seen her father in a yearandhad never visited Julie in prison. She stated that she used to go withNanny Faye Chrisley, before last year. Julie and Todd were reported to prison in January 2023 after being convicted of tax evasion, wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit fraud. They were sentenced to a combined 19 years beforeJulie’s sentence was vacatedand Todd’s prison sentence was reduced. However, despite the early legal wins,Julie still has to serve her original 7-year sentence, and Todd’s appeal process met dead ends.
“The last time I visited my dad probably was …was it the beginning of last year?” Lindsie pondered.
“I can’t even honestly remember. [Nanny Faye and I] used to go together when they first went [to prison]. It was just like, [a] more comfortable situation for both of us to go when they both of us stay in a hotel together.I have never been to Lexington to visit Julie. […] I have not seen my dad in quite some time andI have had no contact. Andthat’s all I’m going to say for that.”
Lindsie Chrisley Has a Tense Relationship With Her Family
Todd and Lindsie Chrisley’s relationship became fraught whenhe accused her of cheatingon her then-husbandWill Campbell. Todd Chrisley also alleged thatChrisley reported his financial woes to the police, to which she responded with explosive accusations. Chrisley accused Todd and brotherChase Chrisleyofextortioninvolvingan alleged sex tapewith formerThe BachelorstarRobby Hayes. Chrisley alleged that Todd and Chase allegedly attempted to use the tape tocoerce her into lying for enforcement.
Chrisley and her father reconciled in 2022 before their relationship became strained following his and Julie’s conviction. Todd Chrisley is not interested in a relationship with his daughter, as estranged sisterSavannah Chrisleypreviously shared with Chrisley thatshe was not welcome at the public appeals hearingin April 2019. As of now, her relationship with Savannah is “nothing,” as thelast post she shared with her sister was in 2022following her parents’ conviction.
As Lindsie Chrisley remains quiet over her parents’ incarceration, Savannah has been “going through the proper channels” tohave her parents pardoned by President Trump.However, her fight for her parents doesn’t end there, as she is trying to hold the BOP responsible forher father’s prison strugglesdespitehis prison’s impending closure. Meanwhile,Julie Chrisley is trying to have her sentence vacated again, due to her claims that the resentencing judge acted out of “retaliation” forSavannah Chrisley’s outspokenness.
