Ike Nwoko Writes:

Yo! What Up, Collider!!!Aladdinis my favorite Disney-animated film and got real excited when I heard that they were making a live-action version of the movie! But I remember a while back when they announced plans for a “prequel Genie movie” and never heard any updates about it afterward, and it got me wondering: Could both the “live-action Aladdin” and “prequel Genie” movie be connected? Or do you think that Disney scrapped their plans for a Genie movie and decided to go all out with an Aladdin movie? I’m hoping for the latter because hearing that the team behind the “Freddy Vs Jason” movie and the (2009) Friday the 13th Remake were attached to the prequel Genie movie doesn’t give me any faith that they will do a good job with the film, and would just rather them not attempt it at all (or at least not with that “Team”). Love to hear your thoughts and appreciate all that you do!!!

PS: I’ve been trying to get a question answered here on Mailbag for 3 years, and would be excited if this one in particular finally got answered!

Hi Collider crew, I watch a lot of your content. I was watching your ‘Deadpool’ commentary and the question of Deadpool appearing in the final Wolverine was brought up. Now that we learned last week that Wolverine 3 will be set in the future and called ‘Logan’ and is R rated thanks to Deadpool success, do you still think we can see Deadpool and Wolverine on-screen together? If this is the final movie starring Hugh Jackman, how can you fit Deadpool in ‘Logan’? I guess Fox can make it work with the timelines…
