The new season ofThe Croods: Family Treewill keep on chronicling the adventures of two prehistoric families who are forced to coexist and cooperate if they want to survive the harsh and wild environment of wild beasts while hunting for food. In the story, both the Croods and the Bettermans must constantly overcome their rivalries in order to keep their community-like tree house up and running.

First, remembering a name is very difficult when our ancestors were still baptizing every single thing. Then, you always need to triple check if your dinner is really dead before eating it. Going on a road trip may cause some deadly consequences as you discover a brand-new predator. Finally, in order to create family memories the whole family needs to risk their safety instead of huddling together in a cave.

This is the fourth batch of episodes that DreamWorks releases this year alone forThe Croods: Family Tree. Much like other series from the studios likeDragons: The Nine Realms, seasons come in batches of six or seven episodes, so it’s expected that Season 5 of the show will follow suit. Inspired by the blockbuster DreamWorks Animation film ‘The Croods: A New Age,’ ‘The Croods: Family Tree’ continues the ever-evolving story of the Croods and the Bettermans as they learn to live together on the most idyllic farm in prehistory. It’s a blast from the past when the Croods find a man frozen in a block of ice, they thaw him and discover he was an old flame of Gran’s! When Grug saves Hope’s life during a dangerous mountain-side tartichoke harvest, rather than feeling grateful, Hope is desperate to save Grug’s life in return in order to not be indebted to him. And determined to show Hope that she’s just as good a cook, Ugga decides to cook a meal that will wow the farm residents. But when Ugga realizes she’s out of her element, she turns to an unlikely place for help: the punch monkeys.
