Japanese video game company Spike Chunsoft has announced that theDanganronpagame series has sold over five million copies worldwide. In addition, fans got to see a trailer for the newDanganronpa DecadenceSwitch collection, which had been first announced at the Nintendo Direct E3 in June of this year.
The trailer begins introducing this anniversary edition by showing snippets of moments from the murder investigations and class trials along with the assemble of colorful and talented characters from the first three installments of the series,Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc,Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, andDanganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Then, the trailer finally shows us some exclusive material fromDanganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.

We start with a familiar shot of Nagito Komaeda but this time, unlike the beginning ofDanganronpa 2, he is wearing beach clothes. We can understand from the subsequent tone of the trailer that this digital board game will have a much lighter tone than the three main games of the franchise; instead, it resembles some of the more light-hearted mini-games that we got after the completion of the main story.
