Positive buzz for Fox’sDeadpoolhas been building since the debut of the film’s first crowd-pleasing trailer at last year’s Comic-Con, but now that its early February release date is within sight, the marketing is really starting to ramp up. I’m happy to say that this isn’t the case withDeadpool, even considering today’s release of the film’s first clip and some new promos.
Considering thatDeadpoolwill be released just before Valentine’s Day, this clip ofRyan ReynoldsandMorena Baccaringetting intimate certainly fits the holiday, despite their very Christmas-y attire. But like anything else related to the Merc with a Mouth, this clip comes with a twist. I’ll save that surprise for your viewing pleasure, but there’s also lots more footage to enjoy in a host of new promos and images from the movie’s marketing machine.
