Millennials know the Disney Channel stars and movies of our younger days incredibly well. One of things we all still love isThe Cheetah Girls. The film franchise followed a musical group who had an affinity for animal-print outfits and the filmsstarredAdrienne Bailon-Houghton,Sabrina Bryan,Kiely Williams, and, of course,Raven-Symoné.Since the last film was released in 2008, fans have been wonderingif we’d ever get another filmin the franchise. Now, the stars of the films have been talking about the potential, but Bryan recently spoke withPEOPLEat iHeartRadio’s 102.7 KIIS FM Wango Tango about it.
Bryan was talking about the “Cheetah message” and said that she’d be down to return for a sequel. “I would love to. I would love to get more of the Cheetah message out there becauseI’ve just seen what it’s done so far already,” Bryan said. “A lot of [fans] talk about the idea of their storyline being close to hers, not knowing where her mom is from, having to deal with feeling like they were left behind or not knowing who they are because they don’t know their ethnic background,” Bryan said.

The Cheetah Girlsmovies were all aboutfollowing your dreams, finding balance, and being true to yourself and were important to fans of the franchise and Bryan shared how people still come up to her to talk about the films. “I’ve had a lot of people come up and just say, ‘How you were just so strong in the movies and that didn’t stop you,’ is something that really inspired them, and I’ve always loved that,” she said.
Some of Sabrina Bryan’s Former Cheetah Girls Has Their Own Take on a Reunion
This isn’t the first time one of the stars of the franchise has talked about a return. Back in 2024, Symoné spoke about the films and their importance while hinting that something could come for the franchise in the future. She shared withEntertainment Tonightthat she couldn’t “wait to see what the future holds with that” and shared that if the group ended up back together, it’d be great to see a new generation of women understand the important of “girl community.” She also said “I come from a generation [of] catty girls and things of that nature. Andthen my mom’s generation [was] the same way,” she said. “I think now it’s starting to change a little bit. I think girls are more like, ‘I got you, girl,’ and to be able to mirror that back in such an iconic, cool, innovative way that screamsCheetah… I mean, I’d be a part of it.”
Bryan and Symoné are not the only two Cheetah Girls with ideas. Bailon-Houghtontold PEOPLE in a different interviewthat she had a plotline set for the film. “Raven and I would now be the parents, which our mothers in the film were best friends, and then we were best friends.” she told the outlet. “We called ourselves divas and diapers, but it was our moms that kind of started the whole thing. So I think it would be interesting to see it now, her and I as the moms, possibly.”
