The Horsemen are back — and according toDave Franco, this next act is the most dazzling yet. Franco, who returns as street magician and sleight-of-hand expert Jack Wilder, recently opened up about reuniting with his longtime co-stars for the long-awaited third installment in theNow You See Mefranchise, now officially titledNow You See Me: Now You Don’t.Speaking to Collider’sTaylor Gatesin a new interview coming later this month forThe Studio,Franco hailed the chemistry and the camaraderie that the cast of the franchise shared.
“I’ve known this cast for nearly 15 years now, and we all genuinely love each other. There’s no set that I laugh on more.I just adore these people, and I think the natural camaraderie that we have kind of bleeds through onto the screen, andpeople can feel how much fun we’re having.”

Franco is one of several returning favorites alongsideJesse Eisenberg,Woody Harrelson,Isla Fisher, andMorgan Freeman, who are all stepping back into their illusionist roles for another high-stakes, sleight-of-hand showdown. But this time, the magic squad isn’t acting alone. The film introduces a new generation of magicians — played byAriana Greenblatt,Justice Smith, andDominic Sessa— all brought into the fold under the guidance of the Eye. And waiting for them on the other side? A villain unlike any they’ve faced before.
Who Plays the Villain in ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’?
“We got some new fun characters — we got an incredible villain withRosamund Pike, who’s just an absolute pro,” Franco added. “It’s everything you want.” Pike plays Veronika Vanderberg, the formidable head of a global criminal empire who becomes the Horsemen’s biggest threat yet. Directed byRuben Fleischer(Venom,Zombieland) and written byEric Warren Singer,Michael Lesslie, andSeth Grahame-Smith, the film should follow in the footsteps of its predecessors in blending slick spectacle, sharp ensemble chemistry, and a bit of movie magic —who doesn’t love a good old sleight of hand?
Filming wrapped in late 2024, with scenes shot across Budapest and Belgium, andLionsgate has locked in a release date ofNovember 14, 2025. With the Horsemen back in our lives,Now You See Me: Now You Don’tis shaping up to be a magical hat-trick. But don’t fret… for their next trick,Now You See Me 4is on the way.
