The announcement was made with a new set picture as cameras are rolling in Paris and Marseille withBarnaby Thompsonset to direct. The image sees Cuoco, in character, behind the scenes as she holds a clapperboard, grinning ear to ear. InVanished, Cuoco plays Alice. Per the logline, a romantic getaway to Paris takes a dark turn with the sudden disappearance of Alice’s boyfriend, Tom, aboard a train to France.She is then plunged into a web of intrigue and danger, uncovering secrets about the man she thought she knew.
The premise sounds very promising as it leaves space for a lot of action, drama, as well as intriguing mystery. Also starring in the suspense drama alongside Cuoco will beSam Claflin,Karin Viard, and German actorMatthias Schweighöfer.Tushar Jindal, Head of Content Acquisitions, Prime Video UK, said of the upcoming series:
