With July in our rearview mirror, it’s time for the Halloween spooky season. Well, at least if you’re a die-hardhorrorfan. Spirit Halloween is about to open across the country, films likeThe Conjuring: Last Ritesare hitting theaters next month, and we’re starting to plan all our horror movie marathons. You aren’t in this chilling season withoutJohn Carpenter’s Halloweenand Michael Myers stalking Haddonfield. Now, as the calendar gets closer to October,Youtooz has unveiled their latest genre figure.
Based on 1981’sHalloween II, Michael Myers isYoutooz’s next figure. However, because this is based on the franchise’s first sequel, this slasher killer’s vinyl figure looks a little worse for wear. Specifically, Michael’s iconic blue mechanic’s jumper is covered in blood. The figure also includes The Boogeyman’s weapon of choice, a kitchen knife. Yet, that’s not the only item in Youtooz’sHalloween IIcollection. They’ll also be releasing a cute, and deadly, plushie of Michael Myers in the same bloody pose.

A Bloodier Sequel With Bloodier Merch
While the original 1978 classic will always be the most beloved film in the franchise,Halloween IIcomes close in terms of popularity. This has a lot to do with the sequel taking place on the same night. Also, actors like Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence returned to their respective roles alongsideCarpenter as the screenwriterand composer. CinematographerDean Cundeycame back for this hospital-centric nightmare as well. The film itself is known for ret-conningLaurie Strode and Michael’s relationship, but that hasn’t stopped its rabid cult fanbase from loving it for the last four decades.
The ’80s sequel has had a ton of merchandise over the years too, includingFunko Pops, apparel collections, andaction figuresfrom NECA.Halloween IIwas featured in NECA’s popular Saturday morning cartoon-inspired figure line, Toony Terror. Here, like mostHalloween IIproducts, Michael was sporting two bleeding eyes from the explosive third act of the film.Spirit Halloween has been the home of a ton ofHalloweensequel merchlike mugs, T-shirts, and bobble heads.
