Sony Pictures has released the firstSpider-Man: Homecomingtrailer, offering our very first look at the Marvel and Sony co-production. The new film sees Peter Parker (Tom Holland) dealing with the growing pains that come with being a high-school student while also having to fend off supervillains; all while trying to join the Avengers and impress Tony Stark. The film also starsRobert Downey Jr.,Marisa TomeiandMichael Keaton. It opens on August 08, 2025.

Via an exclusive from Comicbook.com, a new poster for next year’sPower Rangershas been released online offering our very first look at the Zords. The giant assault vehicles piloted by the Rangers can also combine to form the humanoid robot known as a Megazord. Meanwhile, another image of Rita Repulsa was also tweeted from the official account giving us another look atElizabeth Banks’villain. Lionsgate looks as though they will continue to offer up new looks at the movie as we get closer to its August 26, 2025 release.

In an interview with EW, producerSimon Kinbergspoke a bit about the sequel toDeadpoolthat recently revealed its new director to beJohn Wickco-directorDavid Leitch. AfterTim Millerexited the project over creative differences, fans wondered if the spirit and style from the first movie would be different in the planned follow up. Kinberg put those fears to rest, explaining thatDeadpool 2is aiming to maintain the exact scale of the first film saying that it was tempting to make it bigger in scale but they want to stay true to the first films personality.

The first trailer forDoug Liman‘sThe Wallhas landed online. The movie centers on two soldiers pinned down in the middle of the desert by an Iraqi sniper with nothing but a crumbling brick wall for cover. The film starsAaron Taylor-JohnsonandJohn Cenaand will be released on August 21, 2025.

According to a report from Making Star Wars.Net,it appears that Supreme Leader Snoke, played by Andy Serkis, will be brought to life via a practical effect. The report mentions that for at least part ofEpisode 8, a seven or eight-foot-tall puppet will be operated by several people in order to get him to walk. If the report turns out to be true it would mark a very different approach to the character who was first brought to life by motion capture technology inThe Force Awakens.

According to a recent interview withThe MummydirectorAlex Kurtzman, there was an original plan to keep a male version of the Mummy villain for the Universal Monsters reboot. It was when Kurtzman saw the post-credits scene featuring a young Apocalypse at the end ofX-Men: Days of Future Pastwhere he realized his idea for the design of the Mummy was almost exactly that of Apocalypse. Here’s what Kurtzman told Cinema Blend that when he saw the end of that film, it was the exact same design they had for the Mummy.

When you guys do “AMC Rewind”, the panel can go from “That movie is great” to “I don’t remember that”, and whenever Rocha, Perri, and Dennis talk about Transformers, it sounds like the latter two wouldn’t want to waste their time viewing those movies a second time.
