One Chicago Crossovers Are Back!
Various factors have affectedthe ability of the shows to do a proper crossover in the past five years, beginning with the pandemic. Right around when pandemic restrictions were lifted, Hollywood guilds went on strike, and by the time it was resolved, the season had progressed. That left no room for crossovers across many franchises, not just One Chicago. Crossovers are significant, corralling teams from different shows to tell a coherent story.Anastasia Puglisi, Wolf Entertainment Executive Vice President and co-executive producer of One Chicago, highlighted how huge this undertaking was and thanked the teams, saying,
“Putting together what is essentially a three-hour action movie is an incredibly ambitious task requiring complete coordination across our writers, casts, crews, and producers, along with help from the city of Chicago. We’re thrilled to have the best talent in every department to meet this challenge, reinforce the #OneChicago brand, and provide our fans with a unique and compelling viewing experience.”
