Disney and Marvel Studios have released some new high-resolution images fromAvengers: Infinity War, offering one last look at the lovable MCU characters that will surely die a horrible death in the highly anticipated sequel. I kid, but maybe! Marvel is known for secrecy surrounding its productions, but the lengths to which they’re keepingInfinity Warunder wraps are unprecedented. They won’t be screening the film in its entirety on the press tour, and the first time it’s being shown to the public is just four days before its wide release. To provide some context, most Marvel movies are shown to press about a month in advance of release, at the world premiere in Los Angeles.
Infinity Waris very much a different beast, but of course it has to be. This is the culmination event for the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far. DirectorsJoeandAnthony Russohave even gone so far as to say the actual plot ofInfinity Waris a secret—meaning we think we know, but we have no idea.
So if you’re looking for spoilers in these new images, you’re not gonna find ‘em. What you will find is a very sassy-looking Captain America lurking behind Bruce Banner, Vision behind a fence (or prison bars?) of some sort, unconscious Thor, and Teen Groot getting his text on.
