After working on a series of shorts starting in 2012, Kelman has been tapped to directBarron’s Cove, the upcoming crime thriller starringGarrett Hedlund,Stephen Lang, andBrittany Snow. We’re happy to partner with Well Go USA as part ofCollider’s Exclusive Previewevent to unveil a new look at the film, which also starsHamish LinklaterandRaúl Castillo.Barron’s Covefollows a father with a violent past who grieves over the sudden loss of his only child. Intent on finding answers, he kidnaps a young boy he believes is responsible, which sets off a manhunt and a media frenzy. The boy is the son of a local politician, and as the man grows closer to uncovering the truth, he wonders if the manhunt is to protect the boy or the secrets he knows. Evan Ari Kelman also wrote the script forBarron’s Cove.

Barron’s Covestar Garrett Hedlund is best known for his role as Sam Flynn inTron: Legacyand also for starring alongsideMark WahlbergandTyrese GibsoninFour Brothers. More recently, he was featured in a recurring role oppositeSylvester StalloneinTulsa King, the Paramount+ series fromTaylor Sheridan. As for his co-stars, Stephen Lang is best known for playing Miles Quaritch inJames Cameron’sAvatarfranchise, and he can also be seen in Prime Video’sHouse of Davidseries. Brittany Snow is best known for her role as Chloe in thePitch Perfectmovies, and she also plays Alice inThe Night AgentSeason 2.
