Collider is excited to exclusively reveal the artwork for the upcoming LP, which is a clear vinyl record and features stunning, full-color images of the cast on both the front and the inner sleeve. The LP hits shelves on April 14.
The soundtrack was composed byNico Muhly, who previously wrote music for movies likeHow to Talk to Girls at Parties,Kill Your Darlings, and Academy Award winnerThe Reader. Muhly also composed for British seriesHoward’s End. Highly respected, the composer has received commissions from The Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Tallis Scholars, and King’s College, Cambridge, among others.

Filled with universal themes of family, love, triumph, fate and resilience, the series chronicles the hopes and dreams of a Korean immigrant family across four generations as they leave their homeland in an indomitable quest to survive and thrive. Starting in South Korea in the early 1900s, the story is told through the eyes of a remarkable matriarch, Sunja, who triumphs against all odds. It juxtaposes her story with that of her grandson, Solomon, in the 1980s.
