Disney has recently announced that a brand-new original animated seriesCookies & Milk, based onShawn Amos’debut novel, is now in the development stage at Disney Television Animation studio. Amos' semi-autobiographical novel is inspired by the author’s childhood as the son of blues musicianWallace “Wally” Amos Jr, the founder of the Famous Amos chocolate chip cookie brand. The book follows eleven-year-old harmonica-playing Ellis Johnson who dreamed of spending his 1976 summer holidays playing with his friends....

The hit holiday movieElfcame out in 2003. Feel old yet? If for some reason you are unfamiliar with this movie, this lovely Christmas tale follows Buddy (Will Ferrell), a grown man who was raised by Santa (Ed Asner) and his elves in the North Pole after sneaking into Santa’s toy sack as a baby, who wants to track down and form a relationship with his biological father. Anyone who watched theGame of Thronesseason finale knows that stories are important. The right story can get you elected king with very little leadership experience, and the right story can win you an Emmy in the final season of your hit fantasy series.
