They were so focused on franchise building that they forgot to tell the story in front of them, and theAmazing Spider-Manmovies will sadly go down as a monumental waste of talent for everyone involved....

It’s uplifting, it’s funny, it’s smart, and it’s a damn shame to see it fall apart so easily to the point where you wonder if Scherfig and writerGaby Chiappeare making a meta-commentary on how romances are forced on female characters rather than just letting them be heroes....
