[Editor’s note: The following containsspoilersforWandaVision, Season 1, Episode 2.] I hate to start off here on a negative note, but my absolute least favorite part ofWandaVisionas a show, so far, is that Episode 2 has a very modern and very jarring “Previously On…” segment. For a show that so brilliantly launched us into a trippy world drawn from the history of classic television, one built on darker secrets, this completely world-breaking choice is a genuine disappointment and one of this show’s very few missteps....

WhileDisney+has a more limited library of titles than other streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, that doesn’t mean it still doesn’t have noteworthy additions each month. Hulu has unveiled the list of movies and TV shows that are being newly added to the streaming service in September 2020. Top of mind are the season premieres ofArcherandFargo, as the new “FX on Hulu” section of the streamer now makes episodes of these stellar FX shows available to stream the day after they air on TV. There’s also Season 2 of the Hulu original comedy seriesPen15and the first season of theLamorne Morris-fronted comedyWoke....

There are very few movies that can be described as completely perfect, as even a masterpiece likeApocalypse Nowis filled with historical errors and inaccuracies.However,few things are more important within the production of a film than casting good actors in the lead parts. Even if a screenwriter has a beautiful story in mind with great dialogue, it won’t be worth their efforts if the performers do not live up to what is on the page....

The 2000s was an exciting time for cartoons. Coming off of the second golden age of the 90s, the 2000s saw a boom in creative premises. Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon, in particular, turned out a number of well-remembered and beloved cartoons by those who saw them. With so many shows coming out, some, unfortunately, got pushed to the wayside compared to others. These shows are still worth looking back at thanks to their characters and writing, as they often had a fun and original spin that maybe just wasn’t recognized at the time....

DirectorJames Wanis currently knee-deep in production onAquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the sequel to his billion dollar-grossing 2018 DC superhero film. Wan took to Instagram and posted a bunch of new images of the villainous Black Manta, and the Silver Age-inspired look of the character and the sets. Black Manta is played in theAquamanfilms byYahya Abdul-Mateen II, who was featured prominently in one of the pictures that Wan posted. Other images displayed the campy-looking cave and submarine sets, as well as the character’s costume, all of which and morewas teasedduring the recent DC FanDome event....
