Captain America: Civil WarstarSebastian Stanis set to joinMargot Robbiein her upcomingTonya HardingbiopicI, Tonya. The Finest Hours and Million Dollar Arm director Craig Gillespie is set to helm the drama, which will recall Harding’s infamous 1994 attack on her figure skating competitor Nancy Kerrigan. Robbie is on board to play Harding and Deadline reports that Stan will take on the role of Harding’s ex-husbandJeff Gillooly, who helped plot the attack on Kerrigan.

Robbie will also produce along withTom Ackerleythrough their Lucky Chap banner alongsideBryan Unkeless(The Hunger Games) andSteven Rogers(P.S. I Love You). Rogers also penned the screenplay. Miramax acquired the distribution rights to the film yesterday.

For those unfamiliar with the scandal, Gillooly and Harding’s bodyguardShawn EckardthiredShane Stantto break Kerrigan’s leg so she couldn’t compete against Harding in the 1994 Winter Olympics. Gillooly became a public figure in the investigation and trial that followed, where he testified against Harding but was ultimately sentenced to two years in prison for racketeering.
