The motion graphics team at thePerceptionstudio have been involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe sinceIron Man 2,where the company was recruited to create a small design element that ballooned into 125 shots including the design of Tony Stark’s digital brand and gadgetry that were seen throughout the movie. Perception’s work set the tone for graphics in future Marvel films, includingCaptain America: Civil Warwhich hit theaters earlier this year.

Perception’s website today has revealed their conceptual designs for a “Spidey-Signal” to be seen as one of the final post-credit moments of the film. The company’s goal in creating this imagery was to develop something that could be built upon in later features, including Marvel’s upcomingSpider-Man: Homecoming. This approach offers clues as to what we might be seeing more of from the graphical sense in Spider-Man’s cinematic future. As Perception notes on their website, each design originated as flat artwork before being unlocked into something much more.
