First airing in 2021,Mayor of Kingstownwas one of the first series from Sheridan to followYellowstone, his hit neo-Western led byKevin Costner. The show even recruitedMarvelandMission: Impossibleveteran Jeremy Renner to star in the lead role as Mike McClusky. Although the first season wasn’t particularly well-received by critics, it earned strong enough viewership to warrant a second season, and then continued this trend after recently being renewed for Season 4.The fourth season ofMayor of Kingstownbegan filming earlier this year, and Renner has just taken to his personal Instagram to announce thatit’s officially wrapped filmingin a post with a new image that can be found below.
It’s also been confirmed that the fourth season ofMayor of Kingstownwill premiere on Paramount+ this October, just afterTulsa KingSeason 3 but beforeLandmanSeason 2. While Taylor Sheridan got his start as a scribe writing movies likeSicario,Hell or High Water, andWind River, he’s been working on strictly television for the last few years after teaming up withMichael B. JordanforWithout Remorse. Just last year, Sheridan released new seasons of five TV shows, including wrapping up the year withLandman, the contemporary Western smash hit led byBilly Bob Thornton.Landmanhas arguably taken the reins fromYellowstoneas Sheridan’s next big series, and although the show only has one season under its belt,its return to streamingcan safely be considered one of the most anticipated debuts of the year.
Is ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ on Netflix?
Mayor of Kingstownis not currently streaming onNetflix. Fans can watch all three seasons ofMayor of Kingstownwith a basic Paramount+ subscription, or each season can be purchased for $24.99 onPrime Video. However, a Paramount+ subscription is cheaper than the cost to buy one season ofMayor of Kingstown, and it not only includes all three seasons of the show, but also access to all other projects in Sheridan’s TV library, exceptYellowstone, which is streaming onPeacock.
