Like its inspiration, the show follows a group of contestants playing a party game in which a small group of “Traitors” must work together to eliminate the other contestants, competing against the “Faithfuls,” whose task is to uncover and vote out the Traitors. The US version is closely related to theUK versionof the show, with both series using the same location, props, and missions, and they are all part of the international franchise.

The Traitors USpremiered on Peacock in January 2023 to positive reviews and was thenumber one original reality serieson the streaming service at the time of its release. The series has had three seasons so far, with two more in the pipeline. An exciting mystery game that draws inspiration from popular games likeClueandAmong Us,The Traitorsis an entertaining competition with high stakes and an addictive format. The series has received a number of accolades as well, including three Emmy wins out of five nominations.

Still, it evolved into an actual ensemble piece where everyone got their moments to shine, creating laugh after laugh from start to finish. The standout by the end isLauren Ashas no-nonsense Dina Fox, who will make you cry with laughter with just one line. Now,Colin Woodell(The Flight Attendant) takes on the role as a more reckless and brash version of the character. The story lays the foundation for the rules and aesthetic of the Continental as it takes us through the hostile takeover from the original mafioso owner of the building, played byMel Gibson…do what you will with that last bit of information.

Twisted Metalis a star-studded post-apocalyptic action comedy based on the popular whacky car smash ‘em-up video game franchise of the same name. The main story followsAnthony Mackie(Altered Carbon) as John Doe andStephanie Beatriz(Brooklyn Nine-Nine) as Quiet as they make their way across the wastelands while trying to avoid hoards of marauders in cars decked out in murder armor. The series has a fun sense of humor that matches the style of the games while updating it for modern audience sensibilities.
