The Boys, Amazon’s adaptation ofGarth EnnisandDarick Robertson’s graphic novel, looks to make a bold statement to stand out from the saturated superhero landscape. How does one do that? Well, by showing the depraved and ridiculous things that superheroes would get up to if they actually existed in this world of ours. I never thought I’d see some of the things you’re about to see in this new NSFW trailer, but here we are.

Eric Kripke(Supernatural) is the executive producer and writer ofThe Boysseries withDan Trachtenbergdirecting the pilot.SethRogenandEvan Goldbergare also on board as executive producers. The show starsKarl Urban,Karen Fukuhara,Laz Alonso,Tomer Kapon,Anthony Starr,Dominique McElligott,Jesse T. Usher,Chance Crawford,Simon PeggandJack Quaid. The series premieres on Amazon Prime July 26th.

THE BOYS is scheduled for a 2019 release.
