July is fast approaching, and fans are in for a ride with two superhero flicks,SupermanandThe Fantastic Four: First Stepsand a trip to time gone by withJurassic World: Rebirth. While most details about the films are tightly under wraps, we finally know the runtime of Marvel’s first family’s first outing. As per the AMC website,the movie is 2 hours 10 minutes long.
With its over two-hour runtime,The Fantastic Four: First Stepsis the longest MCU feature sinceGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3which stood at 2 hours 30 minutes. In contrast, Marvel’s latest hitThunderbolts*clocks in at 2 hours and 6 minutes, whileCaptain America: Brave New World, which was released in February, was 1 hour and 58 minutes. Furthermore, last year’sDeadpool and Wolverinewas 2 hours and 8 minutes whileThe Marvelswas only 1 hour and 45 minutes long.

‘Fantastic Four: The First Steps’ Cast Feels the Weight of Responsibility
The movie will introducePedro Pascalas Mister Fantastic,Vanessa Kirbyas Sue Storm,Joseph Quinnas Johnny Storm, andEbon Moss-Bachrachas Ben Grimm. The movie will bring them face to face with their most daunting challenge yet as they defend Earth from Galactus (Ralph Ineson) andSilver Surfer (Julia Garner). But things will take a drastic turn as the mission gets personal. Fans have been waiting long for the MCU’s Fantastic Four, and the weight of fans’ expectations is not lost on the actors.Pascal previously said about taking up the role,
“It was really intimidating.You really want to make people happy, especially if it’s something that’s widely known with particular expectations around it. Each time I’ve felt like I couldn’t top how intimidating the last one was. They’re all scary. You really want to make people happy. Especially if it’s this."

Fans who sawThunderboltsknow that the Fantastic Four (or their jet, to be more precise) have made an appearance in the post credit scene. All of it is in preparation for them to join the lineup of heroes for the upcomingAvengers: Doomsday. Both theThunderboltsandFantastic Fourcast will appear in the upcoming feature, along with many heroes that we haven’t seen on the big screen in a while. But before that, it remains to be seen how Marvel’s first family fares in their debut.
