The end is here for the scheme team for another season.Leverage: Redemptionairs its Season 3 finale in just two days with one final concentered around the team’s thief, Parker(Beth Riesgraf). Titled “The Side Job,” the episode follows Parker on what initially appears to be a solo mission to bring down a local factory kingpin reaping the benefits of child labor. Before she sets out, however, Collider has an exclusive sneak peek that sees her surprising corrupt lawyer-turned-fixer, Harry Wilson, played byThe PittstarNoah Wyle, with a heart-to-heart conversation and an important proposition.
In the footage, Harry gets quite the jumpscare when he cheerfully walks out to his car, only for Parker to pop up from the back seat when he climbs in. It serves as an important lesson to the newestLeveragemember — always check your back seat for intruders — but it also opens up a deeper conversation when Parker mentions how much he’s changed. TheRedemptionpart of the series largely refers to his efforts to make up for his shady corporate lawyering days and become someone his daughter can look up to bytargeting the rich and powerful who prey on the vulnerable. He mentions, however, that Parkerhas also evolved a lotsince the original series began back in 2008. She opens up about how the rest of the scheme team was vital in keeping her on the straight and narrow and challenging her, in contrast to Harry, who was spurred to change by his guilty conscience. Their little talk highlights part of the reason why this gang of modern Robin Hoods is so likable — they not only trust each other, but also try to change for the better while conducting their cons.

As for why Parker started the conversation, she needs Harry’s aid. He initially agreed to stay out of her way out of respect for her scheme, butwhen she requires an evil lawyer, he’s willing to play the part just for her. “The Side Job” unfolds from two perspectives, that of the mark as told from within the bounds of Parker’s neo-noir story, and the actual story of the con around the con. The team gets involved to unravel what she’s doing, eventually having to play catch-up after being drafted intothe complex scheme, like Harry. All the while, the villain of the week spins his own narrative, claiming he was wrongfully ruined by the thief’s actions.
‘Leverage: Redemption’ May Have to Wait Awhile for a Decision on Season 4

Under their guidance, the scheme team has remained a fan favorite, with an overall audience score of 89% onRotten Tomatoes.
A fourth season of the high-octane drama has yet to be ordered, and, according to the showrunner, that call might not be coming for a while. Devlin, whose other reboot series,The Librarians: The Next Chapter, premiered last week on TNT, toldScreenRantthat Amazon will likelygather data for monthsafter the dust has settled before they decide on a renewal. He explained:

“We haven’t heard yet. Amazon likes to get a lot of data, they usually wait until after the last show is aired, andthen they want about six more months of data afterwards. I think on one hand, it’s great that they don’t have to rush, but on the other hand, it’s tough, because sometimes, you go two years in between seasons. So, we’re hoping we’d get word one way or another sooner than later, but I anticipate it’ll be a while.”
