He’s the definition of booked and busy, and now his schedule just got another project added to its slate. THR reports that Stan has been tapped to star alongsideLeo WoodallinBurning Rainbow Farm, which is based on true events that happened in 2001 captured inDean Kuipersnovel. Woodall is known for his role as Jack inThe White LotusSeason 2 and also for leadingApple TV+’s newPrime Targetseries. The film will follow a gay couple who find themselves in a standoff with authorities after they take their youngest son from them. No word on a potential release date or window.
Tommy Murphyis writing the script forBurning Rainbow Farm, andJustin Kurzelhas been tapped to direct. Kurzel most recently directedThe Order, the true crime thriller starringJude LawandNicholas Hoult, and he also helmed all five episodes ofJacob Elordi’s new series,The Narrow Road to the Deep North. Murphy is best known for his work as a scribe onSignificant Others,Holding the Man, andBloom. Stan can currently be seen in theaters inThunderbolts*, the MCU movie that has captured the love of both critics and audiences and has already produced a respectable haul at the box office. Woodall recently featured alongsideRenée ZellwegerinBridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, which grossed over $100 million globally despite not having a theatrical release in the U.S.

Sebastian Stan Will Return to Marvel Next Year
Stan has been around in the MCU since the beginning, and after starring in two projects already this year, he’ll return to the franchise next year for one of its biggest movies yet. Stan is one of the many names attached to star inAvengers: Doomsday, and theThunderbolts*post-credits scene teased what kind of role he’s going to play in the film. His status inSecret Warsis unclear, as is the rest of theDoomsdaycast, but ifRobert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is anything like Thanos (Josh Brolin), he’s claiming some blood before the end ofDoomsday.

He suspects these are not the actions of a regular criminal gang but rather a white supremacist group led by the charismatic Bob Mathews.
