The Autobots are back in action. Last week, Paramount Pictures and directorMichael Bayannouncedthe official titleforTransformers 5(Transformers: The Last Knight) in addition to the first look at Optimus Prime’s glowing profile. As promised by the director, production is underway in Cuba, making this the second major American blockbuster to set up shop in the country after President Obama lifted restrictions, and we have the first look from the set.

Bay posted a photo to Instagram of a green car parked on the street. Could it be a Transformer in disguise? Maybe, but it also could just be a random car Bay shot to get the vibe of the city. We’ll have to wait for further updates to find out.

What the title might be referring to is anyone’s guess, but, as we speculated earlier, one option could be some sort of connection to The Knight’s Temenos, the ancient ship flown by bounty hunter Lockdown inAge of Extinction. There’s also the Knights of Cybertron from the comics. These ancient warriors were said to be the fabled first Autobots and the guardians of the Allspark.

While the details of the Paramount and Hasbro cinematic universe were semi-recently hashed out in a writers room, Bay toldEWa couple years ago thatAge of Extinctionwas the beginning of a new trilogy. He teased at the time:

“Lockdown’s ship has a lot of meaning that can go into other movies. There’s a lot of backstory about that ship that’s not laid out here. You’re going to see a few things where you’re like ‘What is that? And what is that?’ And you’re going to see a couple shots like, ‘Wait a minute, who are they?’ But we don’t answer those questions.”
