At the TCAs last week, new head of programming at HBOCasey Bloysfinally confirmed our worst nightmare…Game of Throneswill conclude with the 8th season. Bloys said that he thinksD.B. WeissandDavid Benioffhave a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do. If he could get them to do more, he would take 10 seasons, but now, they want to take their lead with what they can do and what is best for the show.

The Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross, creators and showrunners of Netflix’s newest juggernautStranger Things,spoke exclusively with Collider and said some interesting thingsabout the future of the series. Ross Duffer said that they were wary of making it go on past the point it should, meaning they want to end it on a high note. His brother Matt Duffer then added that it seems hard to imagine it as a seven or eight season series. It just doesn’t feel like the story would sustain such a move.
Could we be seeing a 5th season ofArrested Development?!Mitch Hurwitzcreator, writer and showrunner spoke to The Hollywood Reporter andoffered up some hope forArrested Developmentfans about a potential season five. Hurwitzsaid that they are very close and that It’s a thing he is desperate to do. They have a lot of the stories broken down and outlined. Hurwitz also mentioned he’s so appreciative of the fans wanting more and that he hates to tease them with information until they know for sure that it’s going to happened. If it does happen, it looks like shooting would be at the start of 2017.

SUPERHERO RUNDOWN
The first image ofTyler Hoechlinas Superman, who will appear inSupergirlseason 2 now freshly rebranded on The CW,was released last week to mixed reviews.The image shows a very regal Hoechlin next to the always dynamic Supergirl. The CW started production on season 2 ofSupergirllast week.
In an interview with ScreenRant, The Flash himself,Grant Gustin,spoke on some of the details about the Flashpoint paradox, with the most interesting comment coming from him regarding Barry being the only one that knows all of the differences including that he has been slowly starting to forget the original timeline; kind of like aBack to the Future-esque type thing.
